It's done.

I meant to give my resignation letter to my boss first thing yesterday morning. I really did.
But...
She didn't come in.
So I gave it to her this morning.
She was too nice about it. Asked me how my family felt about me moving five hours away. How C was doing. If I can come back a few days after my last day (so she'll be back from vacation) for a good-bye celebration.
*Note to self: finish purple dress for that.*
She made me want to cry, with all the sweet things she said about being grateful to have worked with me, and sending blessings towards C and me.
I'm also realizing I'm close to getting back in the rut of job/move monontony.
I'll work on it. Promise.

  1. Isn't it nice to leave a job and know you'll be missed? You must be a good worker, and a good person too!

  2. What a nice boss you have! Don't you just love when you are 100% certain you're doing the right thing, then someone goes and knocks you down to just 95% or so and doesn't even seen to know they're doing it?
