Possibility!

Well, this morning I've recieved a phone call from one of the companies I sent my resume into. Where'd I find this job lead? craigslist. I am not kidding. For some reason I had always thought craigslist was only for buying and selling things like cars and whatever else one would sell in classifieds. I'm SO glad that my lovely HR friend told me to check it out!

The position is with a countertop company. I actually spoke with the woman I'd be replacing, who seems delightful. They would like me to start (assuming of course that I actually get hired) as quickly as I can, so that she would have as much time as possible to train me before she goes into labor. While it would be about a 45 minute drive, I am really excited about this- I have not heard anything back from any of the other places I've applied to or sent my resume to. She was mainly calling to get an idea of when I was moving to Ohio, and I said that I was basically ready to move as soon as I had work lined up, although I would want two weeks to give proper notice here. She said she'd be calling me back within the next few days to set up the phone interview with her boss. Please cross your fingers! :)
