Thank goodness it is Friday again. As evidenced in my last few posts, it has been a long and trying few weeks. I'm really needing some nature therapy, so I'm going to try to get out to a forest preserve or something this weekend. Maybe I'll get C to agree to take me back to the little arboretum we went to last fall on my birthday. There's a tree there that I really love- one of those beautiful old trees with thick branches going out every which way and spreading up and out until it resembles the Celtic 'Tree of Life' pattern. They've even got some benches underneath it. It'd be lovely to go in the spring. He liked when we went hiking at Matthieson State Park in Utica, IL, last fall, too, so maybe we can try to plan a Saturday to find a place like that in our new area.
There's been some agreement on the house... just waiting to see if the agreement is approved- it's an odd sort of arrangement to me, but then I'm definitely not up to speed on my realty law.
