SPRING IS HERE!!! :-D
I spent about a half hour after work taking a meandering exploratory drive on my way to Wendy's for lunch... and aside from enjoying the window down and the radio up, I also saw reasons #17 and #54 why I love living in a semisuburban/semirural area... a horse gleefully rolling around on his back, and several baby cows (yes, I know they're called calves, thankyouverymuch but baby cow sounds cuter) grazing together in a pasture. After finding my way to lunch, I took it home and sat on the deck in the sun to eat it, watching the inlaws' cats watch birds and bask in the sun. There were birds chirping and bugs buzzing around... it was just so pleasant.
Some things I've been thinking about lately:
- New definitition of irony: being surrounded by 30,000 watches but not knowing what time it is. (It happened to me at work.
- cute jean jacket for less than $13? SCORE!! :)
- Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies are addictive... I opened a sleeve of them and when I looked down a few minutes later, they were nearly gone! Even Kitty was sniffing at my fingers wondering what delectable treat I was eating.
- HOW have I managed to get to the age of 26 and, being as geeky/nerdy as I am, not have seen Ghostbusters until now????
- Tangled is officially my new favorite Disney movie. I've had crazy long hair most of my life, so Rapunzel had a special place in my heart. My parents used to call me Rapunzel or The Waterfall Princess, which is from a really beautiful story that of course I can't find anywhere online. I'll keep looking.
