I've found a second job. This is great news because since it's the very slow season at portrait studio, hours to work and therefore money are scarce. And people just keep on demanding that I actually pay for things... weird. So I'm working at a local distribution center (for AVENUE stores) in the mornings and then going in to the studio in the afternoons when they need me.
5 am makes for some really long days.
But it's steady work, with extra hours available, so I'm getting up a little before 5 and going in from 6 am to noon.
I have now become very friendly with a packing tape gun.
So.... now it's only on afternoons that I don't go to the studio that I have any time for anything... and I'm trying to finish a knitting project for a certain adorable little girl's birthday next week. It's my first attempt on something other than a scarf or blanket, first attempt at actual shaping or anything like that. I'm hoping that it will turn out well. It looks pretty so far!
What's up with you?
I've really got to start coming up with some interesting things to blog.... this is getting really stale again. :(
Hey Maggie - Just FYI - I am passing on an amazing fantastic super duper cool Blog Award to you :-)
