I had a
blast at
Cedar Point on Sunday. We went on almost all the roller coasters, including Magnum XL-200 (twice) and Top Thrill Dragster. Good grief, do I have a roller coaster hangover. All day Sunday and all day Monday I still felt like I was spinning, and was dizzy. I came home from work on Monday (having gotten up at 4:30 to make it home from Sandusky in time) and literally crawled into bed in tears because I just couldn't take it anymore. My sweet C made a medicine run to Meijer for some Dramamine and got me feeling better. Bizarrely, even though I was feeling fine all day yesterday, the dizziness slammed back into me at about 3:30. More meds and another nap later, and I was better. I'm only feeling a teensy weensy bit light headed today, so hopefully it's almost over. At the ripe old age of 26, have I reached the end of my thrill ride days? :( I hope not, but I don't think I'll try to pack 16 rides into 9 hours again.
My best friend since eighth grade, Neti, came out to Sandusky and met me at the hotel. This way we got to visit and catch up, and then go be kids again at the park. We ended up really loving a few of the photos the park took of us on the rides and were the suckers who bought them. Want a peek? Here goes... forgive me Neti!
I was afraid of losing my sunglasses. And my glasses underneath those.
